UVA Health celebrated the opening of the new UVA Health Specialty Care Manassas location at 8691 Stonewall Road, bringing together UVA Health Obstetrics and Gynecology Manassas and UVA Health Urology Manassas into one modern, expanded clinical space. The new Stonewall Road location offers enhanced clinical space and room for future service growth, which is anticipated over the next year.
“The opening of UVA Health Specialty Care Manassas represents where we’re headed and strengthens the principles that guide us.” said Erik Shannon, chief executive officer of UVA Health’s community medical centers and clinics in northern Virginia and Culpeper.
“Our commitment remains to deliver exceptional care, ensure the highest standards of safety, create an outstanding experience for every patient, and deepen our commitment to healthier communities for all.”
The new practice was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house with attendance by Mayor Michelle Davis-Younger of Manassas, Vice Mayor Mark Wolfe, Councilman Ralph Smith, Councilwoman Sonia Vasquez-Luna, and Treasurer Patricia Ritchie Folks. Community partners and UVA Health team members joined in to mark this important milestone. The relocation brings women’s health and urology services together in one shared, collaborative environment—enhancing coordinated, patient-centered care and expanding access to high-quality services for the Manassas community.
“This new location is a tremendous step forward for our patients and our care teams,” said Stephen Keiser, chief operations and growth officer for UVA Health’s community medical centers and clinics in northern Virginia and Culpeper. “This new Stonewall Road location makes room to expand, add services, and to continue meeting the needs of our patients well into the future. It also promotes provider collaboration, strengthening coordination, and enhancing the overall experience for the people we serve. The Specialty Care Manassas team delivers healthcare excellence with compassion and connection to—right here at home.”
Keiser added that the new facility strengthens UVA Health’s integrated network across northern Virginia and was designed to support both routine and advanced care. “Our OB/GYN team offers comprehensive women’s health services—from routine gynecologic exams to minimally invasive surgical care and full obstetric services. Our urology team provides a wide range of treatments for conditions including kidney stones, bladder issues, and incontinence, and collaborates closely with UVA Health Cancer Center specialists to care for patients with reproductive and urological cancers.”
